

As part of Global Youth Action Network (GYAN), iVolunteer, Chenndaai invited MOHAN Foundation for a training session on “Using social media effectively for NGOs” on 27th September 2014 at Damien Foundation. Mrs. Shaila, Office Coordinator, Mr. Sivakumar, Web master and Ms. Sophiya Admin-Sec, MOHAN Foundation attended the training.
iVolunteer is a social enterprise that promotes volunteering and aims to impact 12 social development areas and achieves its mission through a range of initiatives and a large network of individuals, NGOs, and corporate organisations.
Mr. Anand Venkateswaran –Journalist in Times of India with experience across print, electronic and online media, currently manages brand communication and social media strategy for Polaris Financial Technology was the speaker for the session. He covered the following topics:
