100% pledges from employees of Bontech, Coimbatore

  • On 27th September, 2014 Bontech, Coimbatore invited MOHAN Foundation, Chennai to conduct an awareness session on organ donation. This company has supported MOHAN Foundation earlier and they wanted their employees to understand the Concept of Organ donation.

     

    The session started with a welcome speech by Ms. Rathipriya, HR. It was followed by a presentation by Mr. Ananth R, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai.

     

    The main topics discussed during the programme were:

    • Types of Donors
    • Difference between Natural Death and Brain Death
    • Difference between Brain Death and Coma
    • Organs that Can Be donated
    • Time of preservation of Organs
    • Importance of Donor Card

     

    Around 50 people participated in the event and every single one of them signed the donor card.
