On 29th December 2013, Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Ashram organised a Blood donation and Organ Donation awareness camp in their premises at Velacherry. They invited MOHAN Foundation to place an organ donation information stall at the camp. The stall was manned by Mr. Jeyabal. M, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai.
Donor cards, information pamphlets and banner were placed at the stall. During the time Mr. Jeyabal M. explained the following topics to the visitors and the volunteers:
Many devotees visited the stall and showed their support for Organ Donation by picking up donor card. Nearly 100 Members visited the stall and 62 were them picked the Donor Card.
