On 7th January 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Ms. Anjali Jinsiwale, our Angels of Change Volunteer to set up an organ donation awareness stall for the Me Udyogjak Premier Cricket League Tournament held at the Wamanrao Muranjan Vidyalaya Complex, Mulund, Mumbai.
Over 235 entrepreneurs and their families from across Mumbai competed against each other to lift the cup at the event.
MOHAN Foundation representatives interacted with the people who approached the stall and made them aware of the concept of organ donation in addition to the barriers and myths related to organ donation. Queries related to organ donation addressed by them were answered to their satisfaction.
We appreciate the people who agreed to pledge their organs and sign up for organ donation. A total of 15 people pledged to donate their organs.
We wish to convey our sincere thanks to Ms. Anjali Jinsiwale for giving us an opportunity to further our cause in organ donation.
