Two women’s organisations celebrated International Women’s Day on 10th March 2016 at World University Centre by felicitating women achievers old and young. The function was organised by University Women’s Association and Women Voluntary Services and MOHAN Foundation was invited to set a stall on Organ Donation.
Mrs. Saroj Dhawan, volunteer manned the stall. About 100 members and guests took part in the celebrations and to felicitate achievers like Sofia Ashraf and Anahita Sriprasad and also gave away scholarships to 6 students. MOHAN Foundation volunteer pinned green ribbons on all the invitees and spoke about the work of MOHAN Foundation. 30 members came to the stall and picked an information brochure. All the participants of the above function were made aware of online registration as a donor on MOHAN Foundation website. However no donor cards were taken.
