


On October 31st and 1st of November nursing assistants and trainees of Rajiv Gandhi Government General hospital (RGGGH) participated in an organ donation awareness program. This was organised by MOHAN Foundation and Cadaver Transplant Programme.
The programme had the followings sessions
The Chief Matron arranged nursing assistants trainees of Madras Medical College to attend the awareness session. Ms. Kavitha, Marketing coordinator conducted the quiz competition. All the students participated and enjoyed the session. Ms. Sunitha, Transplant coordinator explained the concept of Organ donation and statistics of RGGGH cadaver donation.
Totally 80 student workers participated and shared their opinion and experience about the organ donation. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the quiz. And all of them took a pledge to donate organs and picked the donor card.
