On 7th December, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Charles Samuel, Principal and Ms. Sumita, NSS Program Officer of Mount Carmel School to conduct an awareness talk for their students at the NSS camp of their school. Approximately 40 students from class 11th attended the session.
The session was conducted by Ms. Deepika, She explained the concept of Organ Donation, Brain Death, Statistics of the country in regard to organ donation, myths and facts related to organ donation, MOHAN Foundation mission & vision.
The concept of brain death was new information and surprising, considering the lack of knowledge. It was very interactive session.
Ms. Sumita Program officer is very supportive for the cause.
All the students were highly motivated and promised to promote the cause by discussing with their families and peers.
