

MOHAN Foundation Nagpur centre was invited by Mr. Mukesh Muttanwar H.R Manager of Ketki Nursing Home, Dhantoli, Nagpur to give information about Deceased Organ Donation on 23rd April 2014.
Dr. Ravi Wankhede Director of MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur centre conducted that talk. He explained the concepts of Organ Donation. He highlighted that organs and tissues can be donated after brain death, natural death and while living. He explained the need for organ transplantation and organ donation and concept of brain death. He explained that after brain death it is impossible to come back his life & if the brain death patient’s family wants to donate organs then they can help several people.
After talk he gave information about MOHAN Foundation activities, helpline number and the website as a source of more information. 20 participants were present for the program. All of them wanted to discuss with their family the possibility of picking a donor card.
