MOHAN Foundation conducts Awareness talk at K.J.Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre, Sion

  MOHAN Foundation had been approached by Rotary District 3131 for supporting a Guinness World record event of Maximum number of Online Organ Donor Pledges on a particular day i.e. 9^th Aug 2018 at https://www.giftlife.co.in

  MOHAN Foundation conducted awareness talks in which it encouraged the people to support this drive and be part of the World record. One of the Rotarians, Mrs. Madhuri Lele invited Mrs. Jaya Jairam for conducting awareness talks at K. J. Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre, Sion, on 6^th Aug 2018.

  Mrs. Jaya Jairam addressed around 100 students and teaching staff. They were all told about the concepts of organ donation, why is it important, who and how can one donate organs, which organs and tissues can be donated and when. The transplantation of human organs act and the process of organ donation were briefly explained.

  She appealed to all to take the pledge and support the world record drive. There were a few queries raised by the students, which were answered.
