On 5th Aug 2018, MOHAN Foundation, knowledge partners to the campaign, participated in the NDTV – Fortis’s More to Give ground event that was held at Phoenix Marketcity Kurla.
Celebrities such as ex-hockey captain Dhanraj Pillai, actress Richa Chadda, Radio jockey Urmin were invited and they encouraged people to take the pledge. MOHAN Foundation’s Life member Mr Nagaraj Iyer, who had lost his son to kidney failure, was interviewed along with Dr Vatsala Trivedi (ex- Secretary of ZTCC) and was aired live. A skit on organ donation was presented. Quite a few took the pledge.
Donor families, recipients, patients on waiting list and doctors were interviewed. MOHAN Foundation’s Life Before Ashes art installations were kept on display at the event.
