MOHAN Foundation was invited by Ms. Rohini to conduct an awareness session on organ donation on December 21, 2014 at Rashtrottana Blood Bank in Bangalore.
There were about 50 working professionals that have participated in the event and all of them were distributed donor cards and family donor cards.
Ms. Akshatha of MOHAN Foundation spoke about the importance of deceased organ donation, religious and cultural barriers involved with organ donation & eye donation, concept of brain death and myths surrounding organ donation.
We thank the management of Rashtrottana Blood Bank for helping us in organizing this event to promote organ donation. We also thank all the staff members for their active participation.
