On 29th September2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Ashish Gupta, Events and Fellowship Manager, Abhyuday, IIT Bombay to conduct an awareness session on organ donation.
Abhyuday, is the social body of IIT Bombay, that organized blood donation and organ donation camp on 29th September from 9 am to 5 pm in IIT Bombay.
Many visited the stall and Mrs. Jigisha Yadav explained to them what organ donation was, when, who, why and how one can donate organs.
About 80 persons visited the stall and were distributed informative brochures.Many questions were asked such as - what is the difference betweencoma and brain death, etc.
We are thankful to Mr. Ashish Gupta and Mr. Mangerekar (Lokadhikari Samiti) and Mr. Vipin Shuklawell as the other participants who took interest, thereby supporting the cause. 50 of them took the pledge.
