On 11th April 2015, MOHAN Foundation was invited to organize Organ Donation awareness session as a part of annual gathering of Hetuvada Sangam organized at Vivek B.Ed College, Chirala, Vijayawada.
There were about 200 members that have attended the awareness session and were distributed donor cards and information brochures. Ms. Shanti explained the purpose, necessity, importance, complex issues in deceased organ donation, concept of brain death, cultural and religious barriers, THO Act and myths related to organ donation and requested to join us in spreading awareness about organ donation.
We thank the management of Vivek B.Ed College and Hetuvada Sangam Members for taking this noble initiative of promoting organ donation at their gathering.
