A highly informative and interesting session on the importance of Organ donation awareness was held in Bharti Krishna Vidya Vihar on 28thNovember 2023. The programme started with lighting of the traditional lamp.The guest speakers were Mr. Devang Chhaya, Ambassador Organ Donation and Mrs. Veena Wathore, Project Manager and ZTCC from MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur were welcomed by Principal Mrs. Chhaya Chaturvedi and Vice- Principal Mrs. Anita Nanda Samudre .
Mr. Devang Chhaya in his address to the students spoke about the need of awareness of organ donation and also explained the types of organs and tissues, their transplantation and the process. Mrs. Veena Wathore, took an interactive session and answered the students’ queries very enthusiastically. Students of class X and XI attended the programme.
The programme was successfully coordinated and anchored by Mrs. Nanda Bose and vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Seema Satankar. Close to 100 participants attended the session.
