







Fortis & NDTV under its “More to Give” Campaign had organized a six city walkathon on 26th November on the eve of the Indian Organ Donation Day to spread public awareness on Organ Donation.
The Mumbai Walkathon was flagged off at 7.30am by well-known actress Gul Panag and along with doctors and the CEO of Fortis Hospital, Mulund.
Around 250 people took part at this event walking for 3.2kms with placards, banners related to organ donation.
The event also involved short interviews of the donor and recipient families by the NDTV team who covered the event.
The Programme ended by children from the Scouts & Guides along with their teachers taking a pledge towards Organ Donation.
