MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Sathyanarayana of Rotary Club to conduct organ donation awareness session at their annual meeting on 5th July 2015.
Dr. Koti Reddy explained the purpose, necessity, importance, complex issues in deceased organ donation, concept of brain death, cultural and religious barriers, THO Act and myths related to organ donation and the role played by media in taking forward organ donation. There were about 100 participants that participated and all of them were distributed donor cards and information brochures.
We thank Mr. Sathyanarayana for inviting us for this awareness session and also thank all the participants for their support to this noble cause.
