MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Sandeep to conduct an awareness session to their employees on organ donation at Nelson Company on 10th March 2015.
There were about 30 employees that have participated in the event and were distributed information brochures and activity reports and all the staff members have come forward to pledge to donate organs and were distributed donor cards.
Ms. Shanti of MOHAN Foundation spoke about the importance of deceased organ donation, religious and cultural barriers involved with organ donation & eye donation, concept of brain death and myths surrounding organ donation.
We thank Mr. Sandeep and the employees of Nelson Company for giving us this unique opportunity to promote organ donation. We also thank all the employees for their active participation.
