On 14th August 2015, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Ramesh of APSA (Association for Promoting Social Action) to conduct an awareness session at APSA Tech Mahindra Vocational Training Center in Secunderabad. This vocational center imparts training on computer skills thus making students capable to get jobs at no cost.
Dr. Koti Reddy of MOHAN Foundation spoke about the importance of deceased organ donation, religious and cultural barriers involved with organ donation & eye donation, concept of brain death and myths surrounding organ donation. There were more than 50 students and faculty that have participated in the event and were distributed information brochures and were distributed donor cards.
We thank Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Nilakanth and the members of APSA for giving us this opportunity to promote organ donation and all the students for their active participation.
