On 16th June, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan, at 4 pm Chandigarh. Around 75 students from various Punjab & Haryana participated in the session.
Students were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora.
The Main topics discussed during the programme were:
MOHAN Foundation activities
Organs that can be donated
Time of Preservation of organs
Myths & misconceptions associated with Organ donation
The entire Students group was so energized that they support Organ Donation movement in a big way. It was indeed and amazing session as participant asked various questions on organ donation.
