MOHAN Foundation Conducts Awareness Talk on Organ Donation for NCC Cadets & Officers at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Sector - 25 Chandigarh

  On 7^th June 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Commandant, Col. A.S Randhawa to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their NCC Cadets & Officers at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Sector-25 Chandigarh. Around 390 Cadets from various colleges & schools of Chandigarh and officers participated in the program.

   

  Major Savita, addressed the audience telling them about the importance of Organ Donation and how it provides an opportunity to improve the quality of life and saves the lives of others. It is the greatest gift one can ever give.

   

  Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch began the session by explaining the full form of MOHAN. She informed the audience that MOHAN is not someone’s name but an acronym. She explained the basic concepts of organ donation and transplantation with the help of a simple PowerPoint presentation.

  The entire audience got motivated. It was an interactive session with the Cadets.

  The awareness talk ended with a vote of thanks by Major Savita. She encouraged the Cadets to be aware and spread the message of organ donation and also share their wish with their families.
