On 18th May 2019, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Harmeet Singh, Principal of The Spanning Kids School, Sunny Enclave, Mohali to conduct an awareness talk on the occasion of Parenting Day. Around 25 parents and 7 teachers attended the session.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma.
In this talk she explained the following points: -
Three real incidents of Chandigarh being shared with the entire group and how they ended up saving lives of others and became a legacy. Also, that the act of donation is truly miraculous and a true gift of Life.
It was a very enthusiastic group and few of them asked questions. Everyone expressed their wish to signing up for donor card and that they will support organ donation movement in a big way. In the end all the participants picked up the donor card and they would love to share the same with their families and friends.
