MOHAN Foundation Conducts Awareness Session on Organ Donation at Central Bank of India Regional Office, Jalandhar

  • On 7th December 2017, MOHAN Foundation conducted Organ Donation Awareness Program for the Bank Staff of Regional office and staff of various local branches of Central Bank of India. This program was the part of their 107th foundation day activities organized all over India. 

    The program began by Mr. S.K. Gupta, Regional head addressing gathering with an introduction of MOHAN Foundation.

    Mr. Sudhir Dewan and Ms Deepika Arora conducted awareness talk on organ donation, types of donors, types of death, how deceased donor can give life to nine people, myths on organ donation.

    Mr Sudhir Dewan shared his own story of how his liver had failed and what had motivated him to further the cause of organ donation.

    It was indeed an amazing session with lots of queries being raised by staff and these were addressed satisfactorily. Around 80 participants attended the session.
