On 4th March, 2015, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session for the nursing students of Chitkara University. Chitkara University is one of the best Private University and offers multi-disciplinary programs, all of which are designed to be industry-relevant. The University is located 30 kilometres from Chandigarh, on the Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway and has strength of more than 6000 students.
The awareness session was arranged specifically for the Nursing Students with the help of the Ms.Harmeet Kaur (Principal) and Ms. Bandana Bisht (Vice Principal) of the college. Around 80 students participated in the session and were given a presentation on brain death, organ donation and its importance by Mr.Sudhir Dewan and Ms.Nilakshi.
The Vice Principal supported and liked the cause so much and said she wants to do a program with us, on their community radio.
