On 17th September, 2015, MOHAN Foundation Chandigarh conducted an awareness session for the students of YRC students who participated in the national camp from 13 different states of India along with their teacher in charge .The students from various universities and colleges participated in the camp.
Around 250 students participated in the program and were given a presentation on the phenomenon of Brain Death and the process of organ donation through a presentation by Ms.Nilakshi. The myths and misconceptions associated with organ donation were also discussed and got cleared. The donor cards were shown to them and they were made aware about the online Donor Cards.
The session was an interactive one and the donor cards and information brochures were also given to the students. Students at the end of the session were so inquisitive about the cause and asked so many questions.
