MOHAN Foundation Attends Donor’s Prayer Meeting

  • On January 21, 2026, MOHAN Foundation, Uttarakhand, attended a prayer meeting held at Gurudwara Shri Singh Sabha, Rishikesh, to pay tribute to the memory of eye donor Mr. Subhash Chand Khurana. The invitation was extended by his son, Mr. Vikas Khurana. Representing the Foundation were Mr. Sanchit Arora, Project Leader, and Mr. Arun Sharma, Program Executive, MOHAN Foundation, Uttarakhand.

     

    The prayer meeting commemorated the life of Mr. Subhash Chand Khurana, aged 72 years, who passed away due to cardiac arrest on January 21, 2026, at his residence in Rishikesh. In a compassionate and generous decision, his family consented to donate his corneas. The donation was coordinated by MOHAN Foundation in collaboration with the Rishikesh Eye Bank, AIIMS Rishikesh.

     

    During the gathering, Mr. Sanchit Arora delivered a brief address highlighting the importance of eye donation and its life changing impact in restoring vision and hope. On behalf of MOHAN Foundation, a certificate of appreciation was presented to the family in recognition of their noble and selfless gesture.

     

    MOHAN Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to the family of Mr. Subhash Chand Khurana for their invaluable contribution and exemplary spirit of giving. Nearly 300 people attended the prayer meeting to honour and celebrate his legacy.
