
MFJCF sponsored programme on organ donation for villages was broadcast on 101.2 AIR. All India Radio’s program for villages, Gram Bharti, features discussions on various social, cultural, economic and agricultural topics in the local Rajasthani language. AIR has almost 4000-5000 live listeners via their mobile app, and via radio it covers 70% area of Rajasthan accounting for more than 50,000 live listeners.
MFJCF’s program on organ donation is played during Gram Bharti. In the program, a short drama on Angdaan which showcases the essence of organ donation is played in the first segment. At the end of drama the toll free organ donation helpline number 1800-103-7100 is shared with the listeners.
The 2021 November edition of the programme on 6th featured Mr Ravi Kamra, member of MFJCF as the guest speaker. He answered various questions related to organ donation including:
Towards the end, Mr Kamra encouraged the audience to talk about organ donation with their family and friends, and support the cause. He also thanked SBI Foundation for their support in promoting the cause.
