MFJCF members and staff were been invited for "9th M.L.Mehta Memorial Oration" on "Corneal Blindeness, Eye Banking and M.L. Mehta" on 7th Dec.2023 at B.S. Mehta Auditorium, HCMRIPA, Jaipur. This event was enriched with experience and achievements shared by Dr. G.N. Rao Founder L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad in Eye Banking.
First, a movie on ML Mehta's life, achievements, and service to society was been presented through a motivational video. After that, the Founder member of M.L. Mehta Memorial Foundation threw light on the vision and mission late Sh. M.L. Mehta.
Then Dr. G. N. Rao sensitized regarding the technical issues and need for eye donation and advancements in retrieval and transplantation techniques. Later he mentioned briefly regarding start and achievements of LV prasad Eye institute, Hyderabad in cornea retrieval and transplantation.
