On 01 February 2019 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on Organ Donation at Subodh Girls Senior Secondary School, Jaipur, Rajasthan with the help of AU Small Finance Bank.
Mrs. Kamla Chaudhary and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey from MFJCF attended the session.
Dr. Girjesh Sharma (Principal) along with 250 girls students of class 11 and 12th attended the session and got sensitized about the noble cause.
Mrs. Kamla Chaudhary gave a wonderful presentation and covered following points.
1. Concept of brain death and organ donation.
3. Importance of donor card.
Some questions were asked and answered by MFJCF team members.
1. What are the reasons of brain death?
2 Can somebody donate heart at the age of 75 years?
3. Does body get disfigure after organ donation?
After the session all the students picked up donor cards and posed with organ donation message board and banners for the photographs and promised to spread the awareness among friends and family.
