On April 26, 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr. Kasomhung Soreingam, President, Lions Club of Imphal Excellence, and Associate Professor, Dept. of Anaesthesiology, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Imphal, to conduct an awareness session on organ donation.
Ms. Laishram Monica Devi, programme officer, MOHAN Foundation Imphal, was the key speaker of the session. Dr. Soreingam and Ms. Thoidingjam Udayini Khuman, Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation Imphal, coordinated the session. The target audience were the members of the club.
Dr. Soreingam started the programme by giving an introduction to the MOHAN Foundation, appreciating the pivotal role they played in terms of organ donation and transplantation in JNIMS. Ms. Monica gave a detailed presentation on organ donation, covering various aspects:

Following that, FAQs on organ donation were distributed to the participants for a better understanding of the topic. Later, the president and members of the club thanked the MF team for enlightening them on the concept of organ donation and expressed their wish to discuss the matter with their families, friends, and colleagues.
