On 18th April 2023, an awareness program was conducted at PSM auditorium hall on the occasion of the joint birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. Ambedkar, Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj, and Mahatma Phule. In this program Dr. Vipin Itankar Collector Nagpur, Dr. Abhay Shende, Deputy Commissioner Income tax department Nagpur and Dr. Sanjay Bhijawe, Dean IGGMC Nagpur were present. Displayed the organ donation poster there and the desk was arranged for pledge form, flex and information regarding organ donation.
Ms. Bhagyashree from MOHAN Foundation was invited to set up an information desk to provide information about cadaveric organ donation and tissue donation. About 400 students, Nurses, Doctors were present today. After the program 5 people took the pledge for organ and tissue donation.
