The Inner Wheel Cub of Hubli invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct an awareness session on organ donation at the Artwaley Satellite Towers in Koppikar Road, Hubli on 04th February 2020.
MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mrs. Sheetal Mundada. Dr. Darshan Rajput (Plastic Surgeon), Dr. Nagraj Naik and Dr. Mahesh of KLE Hospital were invited speakers. Brochures were distributed to the audience.
Mrs. Sheetal Mundada initiated the session with an introduction of MOHAN Foundation. Dr. Darshan Rajput spoke about skin donation, Dr. Nagaraj spoke about the concepts, myths and facts about organ donation and Dr. Mahesh spoke about functions of kidney and kidney failure and transplantation.
Around 60 people were present during the talk and around 25 pledged to be organ donors. MOHAN Foundation is thankful to the Inner Wheel Club for the opportunity.
