On 4th August 2019, the ‘Diabetes in Women Worldwide, Awareness Advocacy Action Strategies (DIWWAAAS) team had organised a seminar on Women and Diabetes at the Anna Centenary Library Auditorium, Chennai. MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to set up an information desk for the delegates during the event.
Mr. T.S. Sivashankar and Dr. Hemal Kanvinde manned the information desk during the morning and evening sessions respectively.

Many such queries were answered. Around 50 people had visited the stall and picked information brochures, discussed organ donation and 25 people pledged to donate their organs.
