On December 6th 2019, MOHAN Foundation set up an information desk at wedding reception at Hotel Palmgrove, Chennai between 6 PM and 8 PM. The groom, Mr. Paneerselvam, had extended the invitation as both he and his wife had already pledged their organs and wanted their friends and relatives to know more about it.
Ms. R. Juhija (Bio-Statistician), Mr.Manikandan and Mr. Sathyamoorthy of MOHAN Foundation, manned the information desk which was decorated with standee and a big red heart.
The guests at the reception had the following question:
Many such queries were answered. People visited the stall and picked information brochures, green ribbons, discussed organ donation and 4 people pledged to donate their organs.
