IGGMC Hospital, Nagpur celebrates World Organ Donation Day

  • On 13th August 2021, on the occasion of World Organ Donation Day, MOHAN Foundation in association with Transplants – Help the Poor Foundation organized Rangoli Competition for nursing staff with the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College & Hospital (IGGMCH) Nagpur. Ms Prarthana Dwivedi (Transplant Coordinator) was resource person and had arranged Rangoli Competition for nursing hospital staff.

    Nurses were also encouraged by IGGMC Hospital, Faculty of Nursing Department were excited to be the part of ‘ORGAN DONATION’ theme Rangoli competition

    About 12 nursing students participated in the Rangoli competition and depicted the importance Organ Donation by their beautiful designs which was public attraction amongst OPD patients and their families.

    The Dean of IGGMC Hospital and faculty member Dr Vaishali Shelgaokar also motivated students by sharing their precious thoughts while sharing our real-life example. The world-renowned humanitarian to the young generation and made them aware of ‘ORGAN DONATION’ campaign. She also appealed to the students through this competition we are promoting the organ donation program.
