  On 16^th January 2019, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr Karunika Sharma, Medical Officer, IIT Jammu (J&K) to conduct an awareness talk for their colleagues and students. Around 200 students and 15 faculty including Director, Dean, OSD, MHRD and medical team participated in the program.

  Participants were given an introduction by Mr. Sudhir Dewan and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Ms. Neha Sharma.

  Mr. Dewan explained the Process of Organ Donation – why it is needed, myths Related to Organ Donation. The Demand and supply gap of organs in our country

  Participants actively participated with lots of questions being asked and received satisfactory answers.

  The Director, Dean, Faculty members and most of the students of IIT Jammu downloaded the MOHAN Foundation e-donor card app and Pledged to donate their organs.

  The session was made possible through the initiative and enthusiasm of Dr. Karunika Sharma and Prof. Gaur, Director, IIT.
