Dr. Sunil Shroff Honoured with “Contribution to Kidney Care” Award at KWF Conclave 2026

  • The KWF Conclave 2026, organized by the Kidney Warriors Foundation was held on March 1, 2026, at The Park Hotel, New Delhi, to commemorate 50 years of kidney care in India. The event brought together leading experts, healthcare professionals, and advocates working in the field of nephrology and transplantation. During the conclave, Dr. Sunil Shroff, Trustee, MOHAN Foundation, was honoured with the “Contribution to Kidney Care” award in recognition of his longstanding efforts in advancing kidney transplantation and promoting organ donation across the country.

     

    The award ceremony served as a platform to celebrate individuals and institutions that have significantly strengthened kidney care in India. Representing Dr. Shroff at the event, Ms. Simran Anand, Programme Officer at MOHAN Foundation NCR, had the honour of receiving the award on his behalf during the conclave. The moment marked a proud recognition of Dr. Shroff’s decades-long commitment to the cause of organ donation and transplant awareness.

     

    The certificate presented during the ceremony highlighted the collaborative efforts between the Kidney Warriors Foundation and the Indian Society of Nephrology in acknowledging leaders who have shaped kidney care in the country. The honour underscored Dr. Shroff’s pivotal role in strengthening transplant programmes, advancing public awareness on organ donation, and contributing to the broader mission of improving kidney care in India.

     

    Close to 150 delegates were present at the ceremony.
