

Dr. Barry, Transplant Consultant to the Government of Rajasthan and Advisory Board Member of MOHAN Foundation, visited Monilek Hospital and Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital (SDMH) on 3rd December 2014 to give presentations on the emerging deceased donor transplant program in Rajasthan. Both hospitals plan to engage in deceased donor transplantation, so Dr. Barry presented a lecture on “6 Critical Elements to a Successful Deceased Donor Transplant Program”. Dr. SL Tolani, Monilek Kidney Transplant Surgeon, hosted an audience of 25 key staff members. Representatives from MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen’s Forum (MFJCF) were also present. Dr. Rajesh Bhojwani, Director of SDMH Hepatobiliary Surgery, assembled an august group of 100 faculty and staff members. MFJCF representatives were also in attendance for this lecture. Great enthusiasm and interest for the deceased donor transplant program were evident at both institutions.
