

Dr. Christopher Taylor Barry, Transplant Consultant to the Government of Rajasthan and MOHAN Foundation Advisory Board Member, met with representative Faculty, Staff and Residents of the Departments of Surgery and Anesthesiology at Sawai Man Singh Hospital Medical College in Jaipur on 19th December 2014. He gave a lecture on the emerging Deceased Donor Transplant Program at SMS, emphasizing the details of the deceased donor organ recovery. Twenty professors, nurses and resident doctors attended. Dr. Barry will help establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Protocols that will allow organ recovery to occur at SMS and he will continue to train the surgeons on the proper surgical conduct of the operation.
