On 08th April 2016 MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr. D. T. Powar, Regional Transport Officer, Nagpur to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for drivers who apply for vehicles registration and driving license.
Mr. Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ donation with the help of a presentation. In his talk he explained the following points:-
It was a very interactive session. Approximately 35 drivers were present during the talk. 3 drivers signed the consent form and took donor card.
The Participants asked the following questions:-
What is the cause of Kidney failure?
Which organ can be transplanted in Nagpur?
What is the cost for eye transplant in Nagpur?
