Cricket players in Perambur support eye donation during during a Sunday game

  • An eye donation awareness session was held on June 08, 2025, at Perambur Playground for cricket players. This recreational game  of cricket is held every Sunday. The session was conducted by Ms. Sangeetha K, Project Executive, MOHAN Foundation to spread awareness about the importance of eye donation.. 

    She shared valuable information on how eye donation can change lives by restoring sight. She explained about corneal blindness and how timely eye donation can help. The session also covered who is eligible to donate, cleared up common myths, and outlined the necessary steps and precautions to ensure a successful donation. 

    Around 40 players attended the session, and 28 of them collected donor cards. MOHAN Foundation sincerely thanks the cricket community of Perambur, Chennai for supporting this cause.
