An Eye Donation awareness talk was conducted on June 08, 2025 at Happy Homes, Perambur, Chennai. The aim of happy Homes is to have a safe stay for senior citizens. The session was organized to create awareness and dispel common myths regarding eye donation.
The session was led by Ms. Sangeetha, Project Executive, MOHAN Foundation, who provided detailed insights about the eye donation. She also addressed the myths and explained about corneal blindness. She spoke of how to pledge, the protocol for donation after death.
Around 30 residents actively participated in the session, showing great interest and engaging in meaningful discussions on eye donation.
