

On the occasion of Daan Utsav –the Joy of Giving Week from 2nd - 8th Oct 2018, MOHAN Foundation set up information desk in Vadapalani Metro Station. This was to create awareness on Organ Donation for the commuters that use the Metro train. Mr. T. S. Siva Shankar - Helpline Executive, MOHAN Foundation set up the desk in the station with green balloons, banners, registration forms, donor cards, green ribbons, and brochures. Volunteers from MMM College of Allied Health Sciences accompanied Mr. Siva Shankar during this event.
Mr. Siva Shankar explained the concepts of Organ Donation to each person who visited the desk. The one to one interaction was beneficial to the visitor and many doubts got clarified. Everyone who registered was given a donor card and a badge in support of Organ Donation. Some doubts, they had are as follows:
75 commuters registered as organ donors and supported Organ Donation. MOHAN Foundation thanks Chennai Metro Rail Limited for supporting the cause of Organ Donation.
