On 30th October 2018, MOHAN Foundation Hyderabad was invited to conduct an awareness session on organ donation at The Progress High School, Falaknuma, Hyderabad. Their Principal, Mrs.Mirza Mohamad ali Baig and staff members and around 250 students attended the session. This is part of the Times of India organ donation drive.
In this, we spoke about anatomy and physiology of human organs. Concept of brain death, organ donation and finally myths and facts about organ donation were discussed. We screened the public education video on organ donation. Later organ donor cards were distributed to staff members.
