On 31st October 2018, MOHAN Foundation Hyderabad was invited to conduct an awareness session on organ donation at IQRA Mission High School, Nawab Sahib Kunta, Hyderabad. Dr.Mahammad Sajid Ali along with staff members and around 100 students attended the session. This is part of the Times of India organ donation drive.
We spoke on anatomy and physiology of human organs and concept of brain death and organ donation.
We discussed common myths associated with organ donation. The Public education video on organ donation was screened. Later, organ donor cards were distributed to staff members.
