A step ahead in Panchayat Level Organ Donation awareness activities, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted a talk at Atal Seva Kendra, Dhankya Panchayat, Jhotwara, Jaipur (40 km far away from Jaipur Territory) on 24.01.2018.
Mrs. Ranju Jain and Mr. Roshan Bahadur represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team. Mrs. Kailashi Devi, Sarpanch and Mr. Shambhu Prakash Sharma along with 30 villagers attended the session and got sensitized about the organ donation.With the help of PowerPoint presentation and video based on organ donation Mrs. Ranju Jain described the concept of Organ Donation and brain death.
During the session some questions were asked and answered by MFJCF-Navjeevan Team members.
1. Which organs can be donated while living?
2. How can we become an organ donor?
3. Do I get financial benefit after I pledge for my organs?
After the end of interesting session 25 villagers took the donor cards to pledge the organs and posed with organ donation message board "I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION"
MFJCF team told the audience that villagers are always willing for such noble cause but not having the relevant awareness is the barrier.
