On 12th September, 2013 an awareness session on organ donation was organized at the Department of Anatomy, Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Pondicherry. The session was conducted by Mr. Ananth R, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai.
The welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Sivakumar, Vice Dean (PG) and Head of Department, Department of Anatomy, PIMS. Followed by a presentation made by Mr. Ananth. He covered the following topics:
There were a total of 8 faculty members from PIMS. Every member of the audience picked up a donor card.
