MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Sharad Jighkar, Regional Transport Officer, Giripeth, Nagpur to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for drivers on 22 November 2016.. This was done in the waiting hall of the Transport Office and it was for drivers who apply for vehicles registration and driving license.
Mr. Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ Donation. In his talk he explained the following points:-
It was a very interactive session. Approximately 25 drivers were present.
5 drivers signed consent form and took donor card.
The Drivers asked the following questions:-
What is the difference between coma and brain death?
Why coma patient organ can’t donate?
Who is head of MOHAN Foundation?
