

MFJCF organized an informative awareness session on organ donation at the AU Ignite Nursing Assistant Academy on 14th September, 2024. The session aimed to educate nursing assistant trainees on the critical importance of organ donation and its life-saving potential. Mrs. Kamla Chaudhary, Member MFJCF led the session. She shared insightful details about the current organ donation scenario in India. She highlighted the growing need for organ donors, given the vast number of people on waiting lists for life-saving transplants. The session emphasized the ethical, moral, and humanitarian aspects of organ donation, urging attendees to not only consider donating organs themselves but also to spread the message within their communities. The session was interactive, with participants asking questions regarding the practical aspects of organ donation, including the registration process and the role of healthcare professionals in facilitating donations
