MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on organ and tissue donation at Serene Old Age Home in Vinodha Bagh of Ibrahimpatnam in Rangareddy district of Telangana on 5th August 2021.
Dr. Bhanuprakash, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation addressed the residents of the home about organ, eye and whole body donation. He explained cardiac and brain death, and the organs and tissues that can be donated in both these circumstances.
Information brochures were distributed to all those present. Around 50 pledged for eye, body and organ donation and received their donor cards.
Mr. Nageswar Rao, In-charge of the home thanked Dr. Bhanuprakash and appreciated the efforts of MOHAN Foundation.
