On August 14, 2019, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Geodis India Private Limited, Gurugram. The session was organized by Ms. Shivani Saxena (Executive HR, Geodis India Pvt. Ltd.) on the occasion of Independence Day. Dr. Muneet Kaur Sahi was the speaker at the session.

The session began with Dr. Muneet asking the audience if any one of them had signed up to be an organ donor or had any personal experience to share regarding organ donation. One of the participants got up to share that he had signed up for organ donation and showed his donor card to everyone present there.
The sharing of the donor card by this participant sparked an interesting discussion and set the tone for the talk. Everyone present realized the importance of organ donation in the country and also that each one of them could contribute in one way or the other.
Dr. Muneet then explained the basic concepts of organ donation and transplantation with the help of a simple PowerPoint presentation and a few videos on subjects like brain death for better understanding and clarity.
The audience members asked a lot of questions during and post the presentation and there was an open-ended discussion.
Close to 47 employees attended the session and an equal number of donor cards were picked up.
